My Travel Inspires Me...

Architecture considers the delicacy of making and shaping society in ways, sometimes unfathomable by the human conscience. The artistic commodity, we consider architecture, is ever-changing, but highly informed by its past. The exploration of both the past and future is important for me. When I was about three years old, I was instinctively designing symmetrical buildings and towers with blocks lying around the house. Over my childhood, my parents would take me to different forts, temples, and monuments to enlighten me on the history of my country. After each visit, the visual and structural designs would overwhelm my mind with the curiosity for more. It seemed as though I had foreshadowed my life path without consciously knowing it. As I pursue my academic journey through this course, I yearn for a more practical learning experience. To theoretically discern a form versus practically learn it is two vastly unique experiences. I need more to inform my design recommendations, with the lens of real-world needs and expectations. It is to be noted, it is never too early to dive deep into the ocean of knowledge; it facilitates effective and provocative symbiotic decisions.
